Introductie

Ik heb mijn opleiding tot orthopedisch chirurg gevolgd in regio Nijmegen. Naast mijn opleiding, ben ik gepromoveerd op chirurgische behandeling van patellofemorale instabiliteit (knieschijf instabiliteit).
Na mijn opleiding heb ik mij verdiept in kinderorthopedie middels een fellowship kinderorthopedie in de Sint Maartenskliniek en een fellowship kinderorthopedie in het Sophia Kinderziekenhuis i.c.m. het IJsselland Ziekenhuis.

Sinds 1 maart 2025 werk ik als orthopedisch chirurg in het MST en focus ik me op (o.a. chirurgisch) behandelen van enerzijds kinderen met klachten van botten, spieren en gewrichten in de breedste zin en anderzijds op patiënten met voet-enkel problematiek. Ik vind het belangrijk om de lichamelijke klacht van een patiënt in zijn of haar eigen context te plaatsen en samen met patiënt en/of ouders een afgewogen keuze te maken tussen verschillende behandelopties daarin.

Mijn doel is om mensen te helpen zo goed mogelijk in beweging te kunnen blijven!
