Introductie

Sinds juni 2024 ben ik werkzaam in MST als (kinder)orthopedisch chirurg-traumatoloog. Ik heb hiervoor mijn opleiding tot orthopedisch chirurg afgerond in regio NoordOost Nederland en nadien het fellowship kinderorthopedie gedaan in het Erasmus MC Sophia kinderziekenhuis. Daarnaast heb ik in 2023 tijdens vier travelling fellowships 14 verschillende klinieken bezocht, waaronder Fortius clinic in Londen en voor twee weken het Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
Mijn aandachtsgebieden zijn kinderorthopedie, voet-enkel, primaire heup/knie prothesiologie en traumatologie. Naast mijn opleiding heb ik een promotietraject gedaan naar de conservatieve behandeling van idiopathische scoliose bij kinderen.
