Introductie
Prof. dr. Kolkman werkt sinds 1996 in MST en is sinds 2011 als bijzonder hoogleraar verbonden aan de Rijks Universiteit Groningen. Hij is mede-oprichter van de werkgroep maagdarmischemie die een landelijke verwijsfunctie heeft. Hij behandelt het gehele spectrum van MDL- aandoeningen met als aandachtsgebieden maagdarmischemie, slokdarmafwijkingen en coeliakie.
Nevenfuncties
MST: lid van de commissie procedurele sedatie buiten de operatiekamer, voorzitter wetenschapscommissie MDL MST.
Landelijk: lid van de NVMDL commissie sedatie, lid van de landelijke begeleidingscommissie sedatie.
Buitengewoon hoogleraar UMCG met de leerstoel: vasculaire aandoeningen van het maagdarmkanaal.
