Introductie

Ik ben algemeen neuroloog met de aandachtsgebieden bewegingstoornissen en neuro-oncologie. Naast de klinische patiëntenzorg houd ik me bezig met wetenschappelijk onderzoek naar lange termijn effecten na bestraling. Dit onderzoek vindt plaats in samenwerking met het UMC St Radboud en het Nederlands Kanker Instituut te Amsterdam. Als Parknet zorgverlener ben ik betrokken bij diverse wetenschappelijke projecten om de zorg voor Parkinsonpatienten te verbeteren. Mijn passies binnen het vak neurologie liggen in het begeleiden van patiënten en hun naasten met een complexe ziekte. Een andere passie is het onderwijs aan co-assistenten en neurologen in opleiding.
